Grand Case Beach Club Activities Desk

Tintamarre or Flat Island is an uninhabited island about three miles off Orient Beach. It is known for its beautiful deserted beaches backed by palm trees and its mud baths. We can get there quickly so a half day excursion is feasible, with or without lunch. A full day excursion is also a possibility, but you will need lunch, as it really is deserted.

Grand Case Sunset Cruise (St Martin)

Grand Case has great westerly views, so our sunset views are spectacular, often featuring a green flash as the sun sinks into the sea. We can take you out for a sunset cruise and serve dinner on board or return you to any of the great restaurants in Grand Case for a great dinner and an evening you won't forget.

Anguilla

Prickly Pear and Dog Island are two uninhabited islands northwest of Anguilla near a massive reef that protects Anguilla from the full force of the Atlantic. The water is warm, the beaches are long and uncrowded, and the snorkeling is great.

Scrub Island is an uninhabited island at the eastern end of Anguilla. It is rugged, and windswept on the eastern side but has a lovely deserted beach on the western side. You'll need a lunch, a few drinks, and a good book.

Scilly Cay

Island Harbor and Scilly Cay (Anguilla)

On the north shore of Anguilla, Island Harbour is the home of Anguilla's fishing fleet, so the beach is not ideal for secluded sunbathing. It is a great place to watch the colorful fishing boats on parade. Gorgeous Scilly Cay (that's its name) is a restaurant open only for lunch on the tiny spit of land in the center of this harbour. It's exclusive, private, quite good, but expensive. We can take you over there for lunch with stops at Scrub Island.

Little Bay, Crocus Bay and Sandy Island, Anguilla

Little Bay is a natural fish nursery located on the north side at about the center of the island. The cliffs house seabirds feeding on the fish below. It's difficult to reach except by boat, but worth the effort for the avid snorkler, as Little Bay shows off the rainbows of parrot fish and the silver shimmer of schools of tiny swimmers. Around the corner is Crocus Bay and Roy's Restaurant.

A bit further is Sandy Island an uninhabited sandbar about two feet above sea level. There is a restaurant there, great snorkeling, and deserted beaches.

St Barths, Saba, and Statia

St Barts is an extremely chic destination known for its fine shopping and excellent restaurants in beautiful settings. We can head over to Gustavia, the capital, for shopping, then motor off to a beachfront restaurant for a fine meal, and an afternoon on the beach.

Saba and Statia are sister islands of St Maarten in the Netherlands Antilles. Saba has a rain forest at the top of Mount Scenery, but little snorkeling as the island rises steeply out of the sea. Statia has an extinct volcano and deserted beaches.
